HHFastForward recieved its initial funding from the Sauk County Historical Society through a grant from the University of Wisconsin Extension Sauk County Arts and Culture Commission in 2009. Another grant from the Arts and Culture Commission through the Baraboo Range Preservation Association helped underwrite the preparation of the photos for exhibition. The assistance of the Wisconsin Historical Society which owns the original Bennett plates and the copyrights to the photographs continues to be critical to the project. The Stewards of the Dells of the Wisconsin River has been instrumental in providing support and guidance to several of the sites Bennett photographed.
